Computation of maximum power point tracking of PV module using modified Newton Raphson technique

<p>The maximum power point tracking (MPPT) has been a popular terminology among those researchers who deal with one of the most available renewable energy resources called solar power. Many have evolved and proposed lot techniques for But each technique its pros cons. Some suffer from complexity as far implementation is concerned, whereas other lack accuracy. In current research work, it investigated MPPT using Newton Raphson (NR) method, which not yet received good attention by researchers. After observing limitation, this method modified (i.e., abbreviated (MNRM)) to make suitable extracting PV module. The feasibility precision depends upon accurate measurement temperature irradiation. By MNRM, presumption initial value close voltage corresponding power, so leads faster converging solution through few rounds iterations. order validate it, MATLAB/Simulink model developed simulated. incorporated in module-fed buck converter explore superior performance.</p>
